Welcome to Mutual Environments. We provide training, consultancy and research for all types and sizes of organisation. We specialise in participatory approaches. These enable individuals, organisations and communities to be involved in decision making.
We are certificated by the International Association for Public Participation, an associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and a Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment 'spaceshaper' facilitator.
The techniques and methods used by Mutual Environments are inclusive. We believe in taking a transparent approach and will happily discuss any of the terms or ideas that appear here. Mutual Environments are an associate to Northumbria University's PEANuT (Participatory Evaluation and Appraisal Newcastle upon Tyne) project.
